Letter: Thanks to everyone who donated to Operation Christmas Child

Email

Wow! That is the best word to describe how many shoeboxes were collected for Operation Christmas Child this year as 1,450 were boxes filled with small toys, school supplies and hygiene items and came in from all over southwest North Dakota.

I would like to thank the many individuals, families, churches, schools, businesses and many other organizations that either filled a shoebox with gifts or gave a monetary donation to Operation Christmas Child. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Operation Christmas Child is an outreach ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that delivers these gifts to needy children all over the world. Most of these children have nothing due to famine, war, natural disasters or neglect due to various reasons, and most have never received a Christmas gift before. They will be blessed because of your kindness.

Thank you again for participating this year and I look forward to another year of collecting the shoeboxes in 2014. Have a blessed and very Merry Christmas!

Jodeen Myers,

Dickinson,

Operation Christmas Child Coordinator for Southwest North Dakota
