Letter: Tuesday edition a 'disgusting' read

Email

"Could kind of," "that rare of," "They're like," "like, OK, whatever, and yeah," "I kind of," "We feel like," "had kind of," "to kind of," "the stuff like," "things like," "at this point," "at this point," "at this point."

The above quotes read in two articles in the Sept. 25 Dickinson Press. Does anybody know how to speak correctly these days?

It seems everyone grabs onto some fab-speak and goes with it continually. English teachers, please explain to your students, who can explain to their parents.

"At this point, yeah," this is "kind of like" disgusting, "whatever."

Jeanne Corey, Dickinson
