Mara Kay Crespo passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at St. Josephs Hospital and Health Center in Dickinson.

Mara Kay was born on June 13, 2013 in Dickinson, the daughter of Atilano and Erica (Pender) Crespo. She started her life ahead of schedule, arriving three weeks early while her mother was golfing. Her parents called her their little peanut who weighed just 5 lbs.1 oz. at birth. Mara brought so much joy to her family with her contagious smile. She was a very good natured baby, who could on occasion show her temper, as well as a grin. Mara looked like her father, with a round face, chubby cheeks and brown hair. She was the little girl angel born into a family of four boy cousins. Mara was loved by so many people and she brought such joy and sunshine to her family. She will always be in the hearts of all who knew her. Mara was a little miracle who brought five short months of happiness to all. Most people only dream of angels, we have been blessed to hold our little angel in our arms.

Mara Kay is survived by her parents, Atilano and Erica; grandparents, Brad and Pat Pender of Dickinson, Yolanda (Kurt) Crespo of Dickinson and Atilano Crespo of Gooding, ID; great-grandmothers, Marge Ternes and Janet Pender of Dickinson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Vaile Pender, Anton Ternes, Lupe and Bill Castillo, and Ethelyn Martin; uncle, Kim Martin.
