Marcella A. Sickler

Marcella A. Sickler, 75, died at home with her family by her side on Christmas day, December 25, 2013. She was born on July 23, 1938 to Henry Hollinger and Katherine (Grundhauser) Hollinger in Dickinson, North Dakota.

She married Dave Sickler on December 29, 1956 in Dickinson, North Dakota. In 1964 they moved to Great Falls and she worked as a retail sales clerk for 33 years at Buttrey's and Albertson's stores.

She is survived by her loving husband Dave, children: Kae (Clay) McCloskey, of Butte, Montana, Korene (Mike) Christensen, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Perry Sickler and Connie Fowler, of Seattle, Washington, grandchildren: Bob (Reed) McCloskey, Angie (Mark) Spolar, Liz McCloskey (Jer), Rick (Cortney) McCloskey, Kristina Haven (Zach), Alyssa Sickler (Garret), Lindsey (Evan) Jones, Katelyn Sickler (Ben), T.J. Fowler and Travis Fowler, eight great-grandchildren, sisters: Dorothy Kilwein, of San Diego, California, Betty Kuntz, of Glendive, Montana, Mary Ebenhoeh, of Prescott, Arizona, brother: Edward (Terry) Hollinger, of Dickinson, North Dakota, brothers and sisters-in-law and many extended families.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Richard and Andy Hollinger, her father and mothers-in-law and brothers in law.

She was a very loving, compassionate and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
