Mattson wins Killdeer Invitational

KILLDEER — The Beulah girls golf team came out on top during the Killdeer Invitational on Tuesday at the Killdeer Golf Course.

The Miners finished with a team score of 392 while Bowman County (406) was runner up and West Morton County (453) in third.

Heart River’s Jada Mattson was named the individual medalist of the Invitational and shot an 84 on the day. Nikole Bitterman from Hazen was runner-up after shooting an 84 followed by Killdeer’s Aimee Kittilson (85) and Beaulah’s Jenny Zastoawniak (89).

Mataya Seamands and Karly Palczewski of Bowman County rounded out the top six and shot a 91 and 93, respectively.
