Menards, Shoe Carnival, Cash Wise Foods among stores coming to Dickinson
Several large retailers and hotels have confirmed tenancy in Dickinson's newest retail center, West Ridge Center, in the northwest corner of Exit 59 in Dickinson, Roers Development announced this morning.
Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, HomStay Suites, and Home 2 Extended stay, as well as Cash Wise Foods, Cash Wise Liquor, Menards, AT&T, Dollar Tree, Petco, Gate City Bank, Value Place and Shoe Carnival have all committed to occupy the retail area set to break ground this summer, according to a press release.
"It has often been said that 'retail' follows rooftops," Larry Nygard, president of Roers Development, said in a press release.
This is the first major step in an effort by Roers to bring retail opportunities to Dickinson, according to the release.
Since acquiring the first piece of land in Dickinson 20 months ago, Roers has brought more than 400 homes and apartments to the west side of Dickinson.
Some of the confirmed tenants are scheduled to break ground as early as this summer, with completion dates of spring 2013. A ground breaking event for West Ridge Center will be held later this summer.
