Midgets pick up wins at Bismarck tourney

BISMARCK — The Dickinson High volleyball finished the Bismarck Tournament with a 2-5 record.

The Midgets picked up a win against Wahpeton and dropped three matches to Fargo South, Fargo Shanley and Grand Forks Red River on Saturday.

Dynae Zubke led Dickinson with 18 kills, while Lexi Jordheim added 15 and Meryl Kovacs had 10. Kovacs also had six blocks and five aces. Jordheim added 33 digs and three aces.

Dickinson senior setter Lillie Meduna posted a team-high 27 assists, while Ireland Jung supplied 18 and Raegan Linster had 17.

The Midgets continue their season hosting Minot in their home opener at 4 p.m. Saturday.
