Missing for six hours, 3-year-old found safe with family dog

COOPERSTOWN – A 3-year-old missing for nearly six hours Monday was discovered safe -- thanks in part to the family dog -- after an hours-long air, foot, bloodhound, horseback and ATV search.

Griggs County Sheriff Robert Hook said the boy’s parents, Courtney and Brock Urness, called 911 about 8:30 p.m. Monday to report that their son, Carson, and the family dog were missing from their farm 7 miles northwest of Cooperstown in east-central North Dakota.
