Mont. soldier injured by land mine in Afghanistan
BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) -- Friends and family say a 23-year-old Harrison man serving in Afghanistan has been severely injured by a land mine.
Jack Williams told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle his son, Army Sgt. J.D. Williams, was on patrol Saturday when the mine went off. The soldier, who lost both legs and his right arm, was listed in critical condition in Afghanistan on Monday.
