BISMARCK — North Dakota Army National Guard soldiers are answering the call from Washington state for additional resources to fight overwhelming wildfires.

Two pilots, two crew chiefs and a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the Guard’s 1-112th Aviation Battalion will respond to the affected area within 48 hours, according to a news release Thursday from the Guard.
