ND man faces charges in starved cattle case
BISMARCK -- A North Dakota man faces charges stemming from what authorities say are the starvation deaths of more than 100 cattle on his McIntosh County farm.
James Schnabel, 44, faces four misdemeanor counts of mistreating animals. He is scheduled for his first court appearance on April 22.
