NDHP troopers to saturate roadways Wednesday
BISMARCK -- All available North Dakota Highway Patrol troopers will be on patrol statewide Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving and one of the busiest travel days of the year.
The Highway Patrol stated in a press release that it is maximizing its efforts to increase visibility throughout the holiday season and is asking motorists to make responsible choices when driving, avoid distracted driving such as talking on a cell phone, texting or any activity that takes attention away from the road. Allow more time to travel during winter months.
There have been 124 fatal crashes on ND roadways this year.
