North Dakota awarded $7M for affordable housing: Federal funds to be distributed by state
WASHINGTON — North Dakota will receive more than $7 million in federal funds for affordable housing and homelessness prevention, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp announced Wednesday.
The money will be given to the state and allocated to different communities through the North Dakota Housing and Urban Development agency in order to help families who are finding it difficult to make ends meet, Heitkamp said in a statement.
