Okla. company completes Bakken natural gas pipeline
Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., praised the completion of a new natural gas pipeline stretching from North Dakota to Colorado. Oklahoma-based ONEOK Partners recently announced it has finished its 600 mile Bakken natural gas pipeline and processing facility.
"Congratulations to ONEOK on the completion of some critical assets to North Dakota," Cramer said in a statement. "The natural gas liquids coming out of the Bakken are another highly demanded resource that doesn't get the attention that crude oil does. These processing plants not only reduce the amount of natural gas flaring, but provide long-term good paying jobs."
The Bakken NGL Pipeline is expected to transport 60,000 barrels per day of unfractionated natural gas liquids. The price tag for the pipeline is between $450 million and $550 million, according Cramer's office.
