Oliver County 4-H wins dairy contest
A team from Oliver County placed first in the state 4-H dairy judging senior division contest during a recent competition at North Dakota State University.
Team members included Shane Giedd, Rachel Oliver, Emily Klein and Rebecca Liffrig. Giedd was the high individual in the contest.

Dairy judging consists of evaluating classes of four animals and ranking them based on conformation. Contestants defend their placing with oral reasons.
Teams from Morton County and Foster County placed second and third, respectively.
Oliver County team members Breanna Vosberg, Charlie Liffrig and Olivia Klein placed first in the dairy judging junior division contest.
