AE2S moved from the Advanced Vision Center building at the beginning of the year.

“I’m so happy to be working in my hometown, at this new office in Dickinson’s historic downtown area,” AE2S Dickinson Operations Manager Deon Stockert said in a release.

AE2S’ Dickinson office provides civil engineering services to Killdeer, Watford City, Williston, Richardton and New Town. In addition, its engineers, surveyors and construction professionals from the Dickinson office are working on a variety of projects for several clients located in and around Dickinson, as well as Medora, New Town and Williston; for several oil-related companies, tribal governments and private firms. AE2S specializes in water, wastewater, water resources, rural water, civil engineering, surveying, mapping, GIS, structural engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation and controls, and financial services.

“It’s an exciting time to be an engineer in western North Dakota,” Stockert said. “AE2S has been providing services here since before the resurgence of oil activity, so we’ve been able to grow along with Dickinson and the surrounding region. There’s so much going on right now due to the oil industry and the development associated with it. The firm has been steadily adding staff over the past few years, just to keep up with demand.”

Boe, a native of Richardton, joined AE2S in March 1995 and has made significant contributions to marketing and business development services for external clients, as well as AE2S and its divisions.

“Andrea has been one of AE2S’ keys to success since the firm’s early days.” Gary Cline, chief development officer of AE2S, said in a release. “She knows what it takes to build successful companies, and has a keen sense of our clients’ needs.”

In her new role, Boe is focusing heavily on designing and building water projects for oil producers and industries in North Dakota’s Bakken region. She has also helped launch a web-based application called OpWorks, aimed at helping water facilities manage their operations.
