Paving begins on Highway 22 north of Lost Bridge to Highway 73
Construction work is continuing along Highway 22 from the Lost Bridge north of Killdeer to Highway 73, the North Dakota Department of Transportation announced in a release.
Motorists are advised that paving will begin Wednesday on the north end of the project, workers may be present into the nighttime hours and a 10-foot width restriction remains in place.
The project consists of widening and curve realignment of Highway 22. The project will add climbing lanes, turning lanes and Highway Patrol truck inspection areas and is tentatively scheduled for completion in late fall.
During construction, speeds are reduced to 45 mph and 25 mph while on temporary roadways, which will be a gravel surface.
