Press to collect recyclable paper Saturday
The Dickinson Press is holding a paper recycling drive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
If all goes smoothly and there is enough interest, The Press intends to try it again, Managing Editor Jennifer McBride said.
"Many community members have been looking for a place to take recyclable material and this is a small start," she said. "It's a good time to clean up your desks and pack up that pile of newspapers in the corner of your garage."
Once the trunk is loaded, pull into the first driveway nearest to State Avenue at The Press, 1815 First St. W. (closest to Pita Pit) and watch for volunteers.
Drop off office paper and newsprint. The Press will not take magazines, cardboard or excessive amounts during this trial run.
