Public forum for medical air service plan canceled
A public forum on Sanford AirMed’s plans to establish a medical air service base in Dickinson has been canceled, according to a press release.
The meeting, which was set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, at the Biesiot Activities Center, was meant to discuss the services offered by Sanford and its competing company, Spirit Lifeline. Spirit Lifeline announced early this week that it was pulling out of North Dakota, making the forum unnecessary, according to the press release.
The Stark County Commission is expected to review Sanford’s plan at a future regular meeting.
