Authorities identify man who died in fiery crash on Interstate 29 south of Grand Forks

A memorial service for Reuben Hoffman, 88 of Killdeer will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at Christ is the Answer New Life Church in Killdeer.

Reuben passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2014 at the St. Benedicts Health Center in Dickinson.

Reuben Hoffman was born April 26, 1926. He grew up and attended school in Zap, ND. Over the years, Reuben spent many years as a mechanic and construction worker. He lived in various places in ND and SD including Golden Valley, Halliday, Bismarck, and Killdeer. Reuben enjoyed spending his time fishing, gambling, and small engine repair.

Reuben is survived by his sons; Warren (Lil) Hoffman of Killdeer, Vaughn (Therese) Hoffman of Beulah, Doug Hoffman (Sonja Pigeon) of Little Falls, MN, and Howard Hoffman of Bismarck; 15 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
