Authorities said Bryan Richard Dukart, 44, of Dickinson, was traveling east on Highway 10, about three miles west of Dickinson. He stated he swerved, trying to avoid running over a rabbit and lost control of his vehicle.

The vehicle rolled, coming to rest in the north ditch, facing south.

Passengers Marc Allen Patchen, 51, of Bismarck, and Kirk Douglas Volk, 52, of Mandan, were transported by ambulance to the hospital. Dukart transported himself to the hospital.

The vehicle was towed from the scene. Dukart and Patchen are in stable condition. Volk was transferred to Medcenter One in Bismarck. Medcenter One would not release any information regarding Volk.
