Rumble strip, pavement markings begin on Highway 22 north of Dickinson
Construction work is progressing on North Dakota Highway 22 north of Dickinson at the Stark County line.
Permanent pavement striping and rumble strip installation is being completed on the first 5½ miles of completed roadway and work crews are moving their way south to complete the project.
This construction project starts at the Stark County line in Dunn County and continues north for approximately 13½ miles. The project consists of widening and mine and blending the current roadway. The project will also add turning and passing lanes, and is tentatively scheduled for completion in late fall.
During construction, speeds will be reduced to 45 mph and 25 mph on temporary roadways, which are gravel surfaces.
