The Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium is providing a free Department of Homeland Security-certified course, crisis management for school-based incidents from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 at the Hettinger Research and Extension Center.
The eight-hour, instructor-led course aims to provide participants a foundation of knowledge and skills to progressively establish a school-based emergency response plan and crisis management team through information sharing and training in the event of an incident.
