SD man sentenced for New England bank robbery
A 20-year-old Rapid City, S.D., man was sentenced Wednesday to a total of seven years and a day in prison for charges of armed bank robbery.
U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced Colt Schneider to seven years for the use of a firearm in relation to a crime, and a day for the charge of bank robbery.
Schneider and Johnner Joe Ward robbed the New England American Bank Center on Oct. 18, 2012. They were found through surveillance video from a gas station where one of them bought gas shortly before the robbery.
