FRISCO, Texas -- With about five minutes to play in the fourth quarter of Saturday's national championship game, North Dakota State senior center Joe Lund trotted off the field for the last time in his career -- cheers rained down from the Bison crowd.

Lund earned the pseudo curtain call.

The Bison offensive front took over the game in the second half, helping vault NDSU to a 39-13 victory against Sam Houston State for the Division I Football Championship Subdivision title.
