Speeds reduced for 113th Avenue Southwest from I-94
The daytime speed limit on 113th Avenue Southwest from Interstate 94 to 35th Street is 25 mph to accommodate lane closures, according to a release.
Only one lane of traffic is open in each direction and travelers must be aware of signage. Roadway lighting is being erected for both northbound and southbound lanes. Concrete paving is being laid at 35th Street and 15th Avenue in the northbound lane. The concrete paving includes ADA ramps and sidewalks on the west side and a multi-use path on the east side.
Until construction is completed, travelers will experience small detours in the rural areas of the bypass where traffic is being shifted around grading work. Traffic is detoured for one mile of roadway on 33rd Street from 113th Avenue to 112th Avenue.
The speed limit is at 25 mph 24 hours per day on 113th Avenue Southwest from 35th Street to 33rd Street for grading and coating.
The speed limit on 35th Street at 113th Avenue Southwest is at 15 mph and traffic is detoured onto the new concrete paving.
Traffic on 21st Street West will be detoured to the southeast quadrant of the roadway onto the new concrete.
