Stark County farmers now eligible for USDA disaster emergency loans
Farmers in Stark County who suffered physical and production losses because of severe storms and flooding that occurred March 13 and continuing may now apply for Farm Service Agency Emergency Loans.
Stark County is eligible to make EM loans because it is bordering a county in North Dakota that was designated a major disaster area.
The time allowed to file loan applications is eight months. For Stark County farmers, this means the dead-line for applications to be filed is December 10.
Farmers who think they are eligible may apply for assistance at the FSA County Office in Dickinson.
