Trinity qualifies six at Bowman County meet
BOWMAN -- The Dickinson Trinity track and field team qualified for state in five events Tuesday at the Bowman County Booster meet.
"It ended up being a pretty tough day with about 30 mph winds," Trinity coach Craig Kovash said. "It calmed down later on and we got some things done."
Marcus Sickler ran the 200-meter dash in 23.24 seconds and Jordyn Bender's 13.04 finish in the 100 was on the state-qualifying cutoff.
The Titans' 800 boys relay team ran a time of 1:35.30, which is also the qualifying cutoff. They also sent a team to state in the 1,600 relay with a time of 3:33.50.
The Trinity girls also qualified in the 1,600 relay with a time of 4:15.50.
Complete results for the meet were not available when the newspaper went to press.
