UMD wins 6-3, splits series with UND

GRAND FORKS — Mark MacMillan skated around Ralph Engelstad Arena on Saturday night at half-speed, noticeably struggling with an undisclosed injury and without his usual offensive jump.

His teammates didn’t have nearly enough to pick him up, either.

Minnesota Duluth grabbed a series split with a 6-3 win on Saturday over a UND team that battled the flu during the week and didn’t appear to have an excess amount of energy during the weekend.
