UPDATED: Grand Forks mother dead following Highway 85 rollover
Grand Forks woman Paula Vanryn, 34, was killed in a Friday morning rollover in Bowman, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol release.
Vanryn was a passenger with her three children and the driver, Jared Schweich of Grand Forks, in a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban when the vehicle slid through the intersection of Highways 85 and 12 in Bowman County. Vanryn, who was not wearing her seatbelt according to the release, was ejected from the vehicle after it traveled into a ditch before impacting a frontage road.
Vanryn was transported to the Bowman Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Schweich and the three children in the vehicle received medical attention for minor injuries. The crash occurred just before 6 a.m. Friday morning.
