Walcker, Beulah rallies past Trinity in Region 7

BEULAH — The Beulah boys basketball team only trailed after one quarter — the second.

The Miners used a 21-point effort from Casey Walcker to take a 55-50 Region 7 win over Dickinson Trinity on Tuesday.

With the win, Beulah moves to 8-5 overall and 5-1 in Region 7. The Titans drop their first Region 7 game and are now 7-6 overall and 4-1 in the region.

Luke Blood added eight points for the Miners, while Cole Messerschmidt and Jett Hettich had seven. Randi Julson supplied six points.

For the Titans, Shawn Stoltz had a team-high 14 points. Jon Volk, Cole Wilhelmi, Willy Jahner and Joe Mayer all had eight points.

Trinity continues its season traveling to Region 7 opponent New England at 7 p.m. Friday.
