West Fargo man accused of window peeping near NDSU
FARGO — Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man suspected of window peeping near North Dakota State University.
According to court documents, a Fargo woman told police she saw a stranger touching himself in her apartment hallway Nov. 7.
An affidavit of probable cause says a Fargo police detective investigated a series of window peeping incidents, and that on April 19 and May 8 a person believed to be Johnson was seen looking into windows of the woman’s apartment building.
Johnson allegedly told the detective that a woman invited him to an apartment at that building about a year ago, and was there with his pants down touching himself. That was when Johnson saw the tenant, realized he was in the wrong apartment and left in a hurry, the affidavit states.
Johnson also told the detective he had been peering into windows at that building and others in the area because of an interest in voyeurism.
Johnson’s first court date has not been set.
