Williams, Turner claim All-America accolades for Bison

FARGO — North Dakota State offensive lineman Billy Turner and cornerback Marcus Williams were named to the All-America teams by the Associated Press, The Sports Network and by Walter Camp (FCS coaches and sports information directors) on Wednesday.

Turner and Williams, both seniors, were the only two Bison players to earn All-America status on all three lists. They made the first team on all of them.

Other Bison players collecting All-America status on one of the lists:

Senior fullback Andrew Grothmann was named to The Sports Network’s first team.

Junior safety Colten Heagle was named to The Sports Network’s third team.

Senior defensive tackle Ryan Drevlow was picked to the AP’s second team.

Senior quarterback Brock Jensen was named to the AP’s third team.

Senior linebacker Grant Olson was named to the AP’s third team.

University of North Dakota senior wide receiver Greg Hardin was named All-America third team by both the Associated Press and The Sports Network.
