Wind causes Bowman County Invite to be cut short

BOWMAN — The blustery wind, which featured 30 to 40 mph winds caused the Bowman County Invitational to be cut short.

The five teams played nine holes on Saturday at Sweetwater Municipal Country Club.

Dickinson Trinity posted a team-best 166, while Willy Jahner shot a lowest score of 35. Jaret Lee and Koty Pokorny also placed in the top five in three-way tie for fifth. Lee and Pokorny finished with a 42.

Heart River’s Joey Wagner posted a 39, while the Cougars ended in runner-up with a 170. Zach Miller also placed in a tie for fifth with a 42.
