Wolf finishes 4th in NCAA Central Region meet
JOPLIN, Mo. -- University of Mary women's cross country senior runners Melissa Agnew and Dakota Wood were in a familiar spot after the NCAA Central Region meet.
Agnew and Wolf finished third and fourth, respectively, leading the Marauders on Saturday.
With the top five finishes Agnew and Wolf return to Joplin on Nov. 17 to compete in the NCAA championship for their fourth straight season.
Wolf, a Dickinson High School graduate, ran a time of 21 minutes, .3 seconds, while Agnew finished with a time of 20:48.9 and as a team the Marauders had 150 points.
Defending national champion Augustana (S.D.) took the region title with 28 points, while Winona State (Minn.) finished runner-up (108).
Along with Agnew and Wolf, the Marauders' senior Alicia Nehl will make her second appearance at the NCAA Championships after finishing 15th (21:52.9).
