Worth $2M, Midstokke asks for public defender: Woman charged with husband’s murder has assets frozen by son
Sherry Midstokke, the Finley woman charged last week with murdering her husband, applied for a public defender Monday even though she listed assets of more than $2.3 million.
A judge quickly declared her indigent and ruled she should get a court-appointed attorney.
