South Heart native does well at Indoor Track and Field Championships

MANKATO, Minn. — Augustana College’s Miranda Wagner, a native of South Heart, had a strong showing at the recent North Central Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Wagner won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:01.15 for her first collegiate victory. She took fifth in the 3,000 as well.

Wagner helped Augustana earn third-place honors, matching the best finish the school has had at the event.
