DICKINSON - The Stark County Sheriff’s Department reported Friday that a burglary occurred on West Broadway.
Dickinson Parks and Recreation Director James Kramer said the incident occurred at the golf maintenance shop.
Kramer believes the facility was burglarized late Thursday night or early Friday morning.
“When the guys got to work they noticed it,” Kramer said.
Sheriff Clarence Tuhy said an individual called the department at about 7 a.m. on Friday to report the incident.
“There’s an estimated $5-6,000 worth of equipment that is missing,” Kramer said. “We’re continuing to…go through our inventory list.”
Kramer added he didn’t think there was any vandalism involved.
“As far as we can tell, it’s just stolen property,” Kramer said.
Tuhy was unable to provide any more information regarding the incident since it is still being investigated.
