Beach man is injured in motorcycle crash
A Beach man suffered injuries when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving Sunday evening while entering Interstate 94 west of Medora.
DICKINSON - A Beach man suffered injuries when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving Sunday evening while entering Interstate 94 west of Medora.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported Monday that Michael Mendez, 48, was traveling west on the westbound I-94 on ramp at exit 24 when he tipped his 2000 Yamaha Road Star at 10 p.m.
Mendez was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest on his right side facing east. His motorcycle came to rest on its left side facing north.
Mendez was transported to Dickinson’s St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center. His condition was unknown Monday evening.
Responding to the incident were the Highway Patrol, the Billings County Sheriff’s Office, the Medora Police Department and Theodore Roosevelt National Park rangers.
