Democrats to host town hall meeting

Sen. Tim Mathern, Dem-NPL candidate for governor, and Merle Boucher, Dem-NPL candidate for lieutenant governor and legislative candidates from the area are holding a town hall meeting in Dickinson. The town hall meeting takes place today at 7 p.m. at Dickinson City Hall.

The focus of the meeting is on statewide infrastructure needs.

The candidates are to talk about why they are running for office. They also are to discuss their ideas for strengthening the state’s infrastructure system.

“We are holding meetings around the state to discuss different issues and to learn directly from citizens which issues they feel are most important and should be at the center of our campaign,” Mathern said in a press release.
