Vandals don't take break over the holiday

A flaming bag of feces was thrown at Big Sky Athlete sporting goods store on Wednesday, according to the Dickinson Police Department.

Mitch Kick, store owner, said he watched the surveillance footage and recognized the person who threw the bag, but would not disclose their identity.

“That’s between me and them,” Kick said.

He does not plan to press charges.

“We knew who it was and they called and apologized and I made them come up and take care of some of the cleaning,” Kick said.

The stunt didn’t damage anything, but Kick said it made a mess.

“It just to me makes no sense,” Kick said.

In an unrelated matter, an inflatable snowman decoration was vandalized Thursday. Russ Koepplin reportedly found the snowman cut and ripped in his yard on Diamond Drive when he came back from church.

The snowman was worth about $80.
