BISMARCK (AP) — Another winter storm is heading for North Dakota.

The National Weather Service says an area from Watford City through Garrison and Bismarck to Jamestown could get up to 8 inches of snow by Tuesday, along with gusty winds.

Meteorologist Janine Vining, at the weather service office in Bismarck, says most of the snow probably will fall in an area from Watford City to Dickinson. She says the Bismarck area could get about 6 inches.

Bismarck already has a record snowfall in December with more than 28 inches, breaking the mark set in 1916. Grand Forks reports a record 29.4 inches, and Fargo is close to a record with 25 inches.
