Hey! You may want to move your vehicle by Friday

The Dickinson Police Department will begin towing about 75 vehicles Friday if their owners don’t move them, said Lt. Rod Banyai.
City ordinance prohibits vehicles from being parked on the street for more than two days.
The department issued about 120 tickets for the violation nearly two weeks ago and those vehicles that haven’t been moved will be towed.
“We’ve tried to give them ample time to move, taking into consideration the weather and everything,” Banyai said. “They should’ve had enough time to move them.”
He added the biggest problem is snow plows have to get around the vehicles.
“It’s causing problems with traffic because of the snow bank around them,” Banyai said.
Those with vehicles that have been issued orange tow stickers will be charged for the cost of towing.
“It would be much cheaper for them to try to get them out themselves,” said acting Police Chief Stewart Stenberg.
