A University of North Dakota freshman linebacker faces assault and underage drinking charges after weekend fights on campus.

Brad Kelley was arrested Saturday. UND spokesman Peter Johnson says the 20-year-old Kelley has been suspended indefinitely from the Sioux football team and from UND's West Hall, where he lived. He's scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Police say Kelley, of Coon Rapids, Minn., was involved in a fight with two students that left one injured outside West Hall late Friday. Kelley then allegedly went to another building where he punched a resident assistant and a staff member.

Kelley was a backup player in 2008. He appeared in four games and had two solo tackles for the Sioux.
