Hazen girls move to No. 2 in Class B

Unbeaten Hazen remained the only Region 7 team in the Class B girls basketball poll, released Monday by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.

While Bottineau (16-0) maintained its No. 1 ranking and received all 10 first-place votes, the Bison (16-0) were nearly the unanimous choice for No. 2. Bottineau and Hazen are the only two unbeaten teams left in Class B.

New England (14-2) and Beach (13-2) also received votes for the poll.
