Man on bike gropes U of M students

Police say a man on a bicycle is groping female University of Minnesota students in Minneapolis.

Authorities say the man grabbed three victims in the genital area last week and has molested two more women in the past two days. A crime alert was issued Monday.

Most of the cases happened between 8 and 8:30 a.m., but one was reported at 12:30 p.m. and one at 6:30 p.m. Police believe the same man may be responsible for two similar incidents reported in December.

The incidents happened on both the East Bank and West Bank campuses.
