MANDAN — The Dickinson High wrestling team saw its dual season likely come to an end on Thursday.
The Midgets were only able to take five matches as Mandan came away with a 45-30 win, meaning the Braves will take the West Region’s fourth seed at the Class A state dual tournament in two weeks.
Seth O’Donnell picked up a forfeit at the 103-pound class and Justin Brown followed with a pin over Thomas Peterson in 1 minute, 34 seconds.
Roger Terry (135) pinned Jared Keller in the first period and heavyweight Colton Couch earned a fall over Cody Hochhalter in 2:30.
Likewise, Mandan also scored plenty of bonus points, getting pins at 130, 145, 152, 160, 189 and 215.
The win for Mandan most likely means a first-round matchup with Fargo South, which will be top seeded in the East.
Dickinson has to concentrate on the individual portion of the season as the West Region tournament starts Feb. 14 in Minot.
