There is a winter weather advisory today for all of western and central North Dakota,

There is a winter weather advisory today for all of western and central North Dakota, according to the National Weather Service.

Snowfall totals of 2-4 inches are possible over northwest and north central portions of the state with 3-5 expected around Jamestown and south.

About 1-2 inches are expected in the southwest. Gusty winds are expected to decrease by the evening.

Those traveling should use caution, according to the NWS.
