Aide sets DAC record

SPEARFISH, S.D. — Kelsey Aide set a new Dakota Athletic Conference indoor pole vault record en route to a championship.

SPEARFISH, S.D. — Kelsey Aide set a new Dakota Athletic Conference indoor pole vault record en route to a championship.

The Dickinson State junior vaulted 12 feet, 6 inches to cruise to a title at the DAC indoor championships Friday at the Donald E. Young Center.

DSU junior Andy Murphy completed the team’s sweep in the event with a winning jump of 14 feet, 11 inches.

The Blue Hawk men are in second place to Black Hills State after the first day of the meet. DSU is expected to pile on the points today when the sprint events take place.
