Patient killed in ambulance crash
FARGO (AP) — The Highway Patrol has identified an ambulance patient who was killed when the ambulance rolled on an icy stretch of Interstate 94.

Troopers say 66-year-old Kenneth Kandt of Fessenden died at a Fargo hospital. He was being transported from a Carrington hospital when the crash happened about 3 a.m., Monday, near Casselton.
Troopers say the driver of the ambulance, 23-year-old Brenda Schneider of Carrington, lost control of the vehicle and it slid into a ditch, overturned and struck an overhead sign.
Schneider and 39-year-old paramedic Michael Parr were injured, and were taken to Fargo’s Innovis Hospital.
